After graduating from the Faculty of Economics at Keio University, Yoko Abe shifted his focus to fashion and completed his studies at Bunka Fashion College. He gained hands-on experience in sample-making as a member of the Paris Collection sewing team at Comme des Garçons, and later established his own Tokyo-based studio, FERMI+.
His practice spans the full scope of creation—from fashion design, pattern-making, and garment construction to the design and fabrication of leather goods (from wallets to bags) and fine jewelry.
By actively incorporating advanced technologies such as CAD, 3D modeling, 3D printing, and laser cutting, he integrates digital design with cross-disciplinary ideas, technical processes, and design thinking into a unified creative flow. This allows him to produce works that embody both conceptual consistency and multidimensional depth across form, material, and structure.
Primary tools and techniques include CLO3D, Pattern Magic 2, Blender, MatrixGold, SLA 3D printing, FDM 3D printing, and LightBurn for laser processing.
Currently, he presents contemporary leather essentials and wearable objets in small-batch production.
His notable projects include costume fabrication support for NHK’s “Suteki ni HandMade”, and construction assistance for Tomoe Shinohara’s "LACQUERED EWER SHOSOIN DRESS", exhibited at "SHOSOIN THE SHOW."
Based in Tokyo, Abe continues to explore new modes of creation that connect fashion, craft, and art—interweaving technology, sustainability, and poetic form.

慶應義塾大学経済学部卒業後、ファッションへ転向し文化服装学院を修了。 コム デ ギャルソンのパリコレクション縫製チームに従事し、サンプル制作を経験。その後、東京に自身のスタジオ FERMI+ を設立。
ファッションデザインを衣服からパターンメーキング・縫製まで一貫して行い、レザーグッズ（ウォレット〜バッグ）、さらにジュエリーの設計・製造までを一人で完結できる体制をとる。
CAD／3Dモデリング／3Dプリント／レーザーカットといった先端技術を積極的に取り入れ、3Dモデリングによるデジタル設計と、ジャンルの垣根を越えて蓄積されたアイデア・製造技術・デザイン発想をひとつの流れの中で統合することで、造形・素材・構造において一貫性と多面的な思考が共存する、独自のクリエイションを実現している。
主な使用ツールは、**CLO3D／Pattern Magic 2／Blender／MatrixGold／SLA3D光造形／FDM3D造形／LightBurn（レーザー加工）**など。
現在は、コンテンポラリーなレザーエッセンシャルやウェアラブルオブジェを少量生産にて発表している。
主な実績に、**NHK「すてきにハンドメイド」**の衣装製作サポート、篠原ともえ氏による正倉院 THE SHOW『漆胡瓶ドレス"LACQUERED EWER SHOSOIN DRESS"』の制作協力などがある。
東京を拠点に、テクノロジーとサステナビリティ、詩的フォルムを横断しながら、ファッション・クラフト・アートを結ぶものづくりを追求している。
